Ecosound Macsound Prof Color acoustic panel 1m x 0.5m x 40mm
Macsound is a sound-absorbing, vibration-insulating and sound-insulating material.
It consists of pieces of acoustic polyurethane foam, rubber, and reinforced fabric.
It is a uniformly porous elastic material with an open small pore, due to which sound energy is absorbed and converted into heat.
Depending on the placement and design, it is used to absorb airborne and acoustic noise, as well as to significantly reduce impact and structural noise.
Suitable for absorption and isolation of low, medium and high frequencies.
Eliminates the effect of rattling and “box resonance”.
Prevents the formation of sound bridges.
Very effective when used in wall partitions.
It is also used for wall cladding in rooms where noisy electromechanical equipment is located - elevators, hoods, machines.
Used as insulating pads, bumpers, and to protect transported cargo from damage, for example when transporting glass or antiques.
When used as a sound absorbing material, Macsound is effective in absorbing the entire audible and perceptible spectrum of sound frequencies.
More effective than acoustic mineral wool due to its density of 60 to 300 kilograms per cubic meter, it saves space and does not crumble.
Suitable for interior use.
It is also used for soundproofing walls, soundproofing ceilings and soundproofing floors.
Absorbs impact noise from neighbors.
Easy to install and cut, unlike cotton wool, it does not emit hazardous dust.
Serves as the main vibration isolator in floating floor systems.
Macsound is used to create a dry floating floor system.
Eliminates footstep sounds and the “cold floor” effect.
When laid under a cement screed, it reduces the impact noise level to 35 decibels.
Used in the manufacture of drum stands.
Good thermal insulation in addition to sound insulation.
Eco-friendly.
Macsound is also used to isolate unwanted vibration and knocking from machines, exercise machines, treadmills, as well as for soundproofing car bodies, yachts, ships, engine rooms, etc.
It is also very effective for soundproofing and noise insulation of generators.
AN OPTION FOR SOUNDPROOFING WALLS USING MAXOUND SOUNDPROOFING MATERIAL
Maxound is 20mm or 40mm thick and is placed between two sheets of plasterboard.
To carry out the measurements, sheets of Macsound Prof soundproofing material with a thickness of 20 mm and 40 mm were used in turn.
