Description

The EcoDiff HDF-Black acoustic diffuser is a 103 mm thick, suspended structure that disperses sound in multiple directions across a wide frequency range. It is also known as a Schröder diffuser, named after the German acoustic physicist.

Advantages

The design is effective:

  • removes hum;
  • improves room acoustics;
  • evenly disperses sound throughout the room;
  • reduces sound loss due to reflection from walls.

In this case, sound waves are not absorbed.

The outer surface is covered with HDF texture imitating natural materials.

How to use

The unit is typically supplied as wall-mounted panels with pre-assembled cells. The number, width, and depth of the cells determine the acoustic output of the entire structure. It is mounted on the rear wall, ceiling, or side walls.

  • Acoustic foam can change color when exposed to ultraviolet rays.
  • Delta E acoustic foam color error ≦ 5 in CIELAB color space. The color of the panels may differ slightly when joined.
  • The color hue of acoustic foam from different shipments may sometimes vary slightly, without affecting its sound absorbing properties
  • Up to 1% of the acoustic foam surface is covered in pores, which are significantly larger than standard pores.
  • You can choose to ship the acoustic foam in compressed form, which will reduce the cost of its delivery by about 2/3, however, in order for the foam to return to its original shape, it will take at least 48 hours ( usually) and up to 10 days.
  • The safety of using acoustic foam has been confirmed by the conclusion of the sanitary and epidemiological examination.
  • Number of holes up to 1%;
  • Custom cut material cannot be exchanged or returned;

Height error allowed: up to 5 mm;

Width and depth tolerance: up to 15 mm;
