Description

The EcoDiff Plastic Black acoustic diffuser is a 53mm thick, suspended structure that disperses sound in multiple directions across a wide frequency range. It is also known as a Schröder diffuser, named after the German acoustic physicist.

Advantages

The design is effective:

  • evenly disperses sound throughout the room;
  • reduces sound loss due to reflection from walls.

The outer surface is plastic.

How to use

The unit is typically supplied as wall-mounted panels with pre-assembled cells. The number, width, and depth of the cells determine the acoustic output of the entire structure. It is mounted on the rear wall, ceiling, or side walls.

  • Up to 1% of the acoustic foam surface is covered in pores, which are significantly larger than standard pores.
  • You can choose to ship the acoustic foam in compressed form, which will reduce the cost of its delivery by about 2/3, however, in order for the foam to return to its original shape, it will take at least 48 hours ( usually) and up to 10 days.
  • The safety of using acoustic foam has been confirmed by the conclusion of the sanitary and epidemiological examination.
  • Number of holes up to 1%;
